A clear Benefits Case and definition of User Requirements

Senior management commitment to the benefits case, articulated around the Business Change and Performance Improvement Delivery map.

 

Shadow Plan – this achieves technology and information leverage via a templated,

iterative approach to system delivery. 

 

The core system, once designed and delivered is then iterated across the organisation. 

 

This enforces with minimal divergence from the core business performance architecture,

ensuring maximum business benefit, whilst greatly reducing both implementation and

later support cost.

 

Benefits Assurance – during and after the systems implementation, there will be set

number of Performance Calibration Events (PCEs) – these assess the business and

technology performance and set against the original Benefits Case, User Requirements

and milestones of  the Business Change and Performance Improvement Delivery map

 

Underpinning this approach is tight project management with full accountabilities,

hierarchy of control, change delivery tools, and financial visibility.
